How to cancel a Google Play Store subscription from your smartphone?
As you have read at the beginning of this article, uninstalling an app will not cancel a previously purchased subscription. So be careful. If you wish to properly cancel a subscription follow these steps:
- Slide the applications menu of your smartphone and open the Google Play app.
- Sign in with the Google Play account where you purchased the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner.
- Tap the Payments & Subscriptions tab, then tap Subscriptions.
- Once the list of active subscriptions is displayed, select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Finally, follow the instructions.
An important fact to consider: If you purchased a subscription to an application before it was removed from Google Play, then you should know that, yes, future subscriptions will be canceled, but those that have already been paid will not be refunded.
